We offer free standard shipping on all Australian orders over $100. We offer a flat rate shipment fee of $9.95 Australia Wide for all other orders. Items are shipped from Melbourne, Australia.
Express shipping can be selected at checkout, for $13.95.
Returns:
Unopened products can be returned within 14 days of purchase at the buyers expense. We do not offer refunds. Products can be exchanged, or a credit note given. Returns can be initiated here: https://360.postco.co/vandababy
Change of mind returns:
If you have changed your mind or accidentally ordered the wrong items, you can exchange these items within 14 days of receipt. Please note items must be unopened. The cost of return shipping is to be paid by the buyer. There will also be a $14.95 postage and handling fee. This fee covers the cost of Australia Post shipping back to you, and also the fee our warehouse charges us to accept and process the return, plus pack and send the replacement order.
If you have ordered during a period where we have offered a Buy 1 Get 1 Half Price or Buy 2 Get 1 Free Offer, these bundles must either be returned in FULL for a refund otherwise the total cost of the bundle will be divided equally amongst the journals for the purpose of calculating a refund value.
Damaged items/incorrect items sent at fault of Vanda Baby:
If items are damaged in transit or we have sent the incorrect order we will cover the cost of sending a replacement.
PRE-ORDER INFORMATION:
We clearly state on all Pre Order items their dispatch month. This is outlined when you place the order (the button will say PRE-ORDER and underneath will list the month it will ship). Your order confirmation also will have a reminder in it. You should also receive another email after purchasing with information about our pre-order process.
Please check your SPAM folder if you didn't receive these emails. Please note if you unsubscribe to our emails we will not be able to send you updates on your pre-order.
Please allow the FULL month for dispatch, that is until the last day of the specified month. You will receive a tracking number when your pre Order item has been sent.
All items will be dispatched together. Orders won't be split. If you would like your in-stock items quicker please contact us to organise a separate shipment. This costs $8.95.
Can I amend an order that I have placed?
Please note we can only make updates to orders within 2 hours of the order being placed. Please contact us to make any changes within this time frame.
What is the best way to stick photos into the journals?
We use Sticky Dots/Glue Dots which can be purchased from Officeworks. We have been using these for years and all photos have remained securely in place.
Can my journal be personalised?
At the moment, we don't offer personalisation. Due to current manufacturing and supply chain delays we have made a conscious decision to not offer personalisation as we want to solely focus on getting our core product out as quickly as possible.
I want to purchase some School Years Journals but my child doesn't start school for another 2 years, are the years pre-printed?
That's fine! The years (ie. 2022, 2023) are not pre-printed in the journals. You will write the years in yourself, so it doesn't matter if your child is already at school or not starting until 2025!
Where are you based and can I collect my order?
We are based in Melbourne, Victoria. Unfortunately we cannot offer pickup as our orders are dispatched from a residential address and we don't have the insurance to allow us to offer this service. However, all orders are dispatched within 48 hours (excluding pre-orders) and we offer an express post option. If you need your order SUPER urgently please reach out and we will do our best to get it in the mail same day.
In the state I live in, we don't refer to the 1st year of Primary School as something different to other states, can I change it?
Weirdly, it seems as though each state in Australia refers to the first year of Primary School as something different (ie. Prep, Foundation, Kindy etc). In an attempt to cater for everyone we refer to first year of Primary School as "First Year of Primary School". The book then goes from Grade 1 to Year 12.
Please also note, the cover of the journal now says "Primary School to Secondary School"

Is this really a book for every year, or just one Christmas?
Every year. The book has a repeating annual structure with a dedicated set of pages for each Christmas, so the same book fills up over many years. Buy it once and it becomes the family record you add to every December.
I know I won't keep up with it.
